Led by Metropolitan Planning Council, Elevated Chicago will design a DEI curriculum centered with healing modalities and practices with a commitment to avoid replicating harm and trauma for BIPOC municipal leaders. The process proposed for the curriculum development and cohort pilot will offer strategic framing and prototype, which will include refinement of curriculum modules with public sector leaders to inform the creation of action plans to advance equitable policy platforms. The development of action plans will codify both sites policy platforms derived from their respective collaborative tables.
