Wenjin Yu is a data analyst for learning and impact at The Chicago Community Trust.
In this role, Wenjin works on all aspects of philanthropic change making with her colleagues on the Learning & Impact team to build a culture of learning and data-driven decision making. She conducts impact data analysis and provides key data insights to internal and external stakeholders. Wenjin is skilled in refinement of data collection from Trust staff and grant recipients, automation of data tracking processes for effectiveness, monitoring data quality around outcomes tracking and impact reporting, and development of data reports and data visualizations to summarize progress.
Prior to joining the Trust, Wenjin served as an immigration consultant to help asylum-seekers rebuild a safe life in the U.S. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and a master’s degree from the University of Chicago.
