Peggy Cassidy is the executive assistant to the Chief Philanthropy Officer and the Philanthropic Services Team at The Chicago Community Trust.
In addition to managing administrative tasks for the team and the broader Trust community, Cassidy works to maintain the organization’s data base and regularly engages with donors to address questions, suggestions and concerns.
Prior to joining the Trust in 2016, Cassidy’s career included teaching high school journalism and administrative positions in local news and healthcare IT. She welcomed the opportunity to work in the nonprofit sector and finds the Trust to be a perfect fit.
She holds a BA in Communications from Loyola University of Chicago and studied photography at Columbia College. Cassidy is a native of the Chicago suburbs and lives in Ravenswood on the city’s North Side.
