Maz King (they/them) is the director of donor operations at The Chicago Community Trust.
In this role, Maz works to translate donor data into fundraising insights. Through data management, evaluation and analysis, they identify areas of opportunity for fundraising growth and use good data stewardship to inform good donor stewardship.
Prior to joining the Trust, Maz worked at United Way of Metro Chicago, After School Matters, and CCS Fundraising, where they focused on data analysis and reporting, database administration, and improving organizational processes across teams.
Maz lives in Edgewater where they enjoy morning walks along Lake Michigan with their dog. They hold a bachelor’s degree from Knox College and a certificate of Data Science from Northwestern University.
