Maritza Rogel is the director of finance at The Chicago Community Trust.
Before joining the Trust, she worked at Rotary International as the Accounts Payable Supervisor. She comes with over 20 years of accounting and process improvement experience, specializing in Accounts Payable. During her time at Rotary, she was a key player in the implementation of their new ERP system, Oracle Cloud.
Her prior experience includes management and analyst roles for nonprofit and financial institutions, including Gemological Institute of America and Devon Bank. At Gemological Institute of America as the Accounts Payable Manager, Rogel implemented Concur to assist employees with their travel and expense reimbursement needs. She also helped streamline the accounts payable processes by identifying and eliminating non-value-added activities and bottlenecks.
Rogel was born and raised in Chicago. She has a BA in Accounting from Northeastern University.
