Mariah Van Ermen is a program manager for the Community Wealth strategy at The Chicago Community Trust.
Her professional experience has focused on systems change approaches to addressing the disparity of opportunity across Chicago’s communities. Mariah’s work on economic development complements the strides she has made in community safety, healthy school environments, and food systems. She has also held positions with West Side United, the City of Chicago Mayor’s Office, the University of Chicago Crime and Education Labs, and Chicago Public Schools.
Mariah has a Master’s of Public Policy from the University of Michigan and was also a David Bohnett Public Service Fellow dedicated to public service and local government.
