Ayom Siengo is the senior director of the Critical Needs strategy at The Chicago Community Trust.
Ayom came to the Trust from Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin & Metropolitan Chicago, where he was vice president of mission services. Before that, he was vice president of community and strategic initiatives with Skills for Chicagoland’s Future and was a program officer for financial stability with United Way of Metropolitan Chicago.
A native Chicagoan, Ayom earned his B.S. in Political Science: International Studies from Illinois State University and attended the University of Illinois for a Master of Urban Planning and Policy. He was a member of the 2017 class of the Chicago Urban League’s IMPACT program and a member of the 2018 class of the Latino Policy Forum’s Multicultural Leadership Academy. Ayom currently serves on the boards of the Chicago Jobs Council and Chicago African Americans in Philanthropy.
