Ann Ilibasic is the senior director of grants administration for The Chicago Community Trust.
In this role, Ann oversees the Grants Management department to execute all types of grant making including Competitive, Designated, and Donor Advised grants that achieve the strategic and philanthropic goals of The Chicago Community Trust.
With an extensive 18-year background in public administration, she possesses invaluable expertise in best practices, controls, and risk mitigation within the realm of grantmaking. Before joining the Trust, she held a crucial role overseeing Fermilab’s OMB A-123 fiscal assessments and audits, ensuring strict compliance with the Department of Energy’s (DOE) prime contract. Ann also made significant contributions as the inaugural Director of Grant Administration at the Alzheimer’s Association. In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in consolidating 81 chapters into a single EIN (Employer Identification Number), while simultaneously developing and implementing comprehensive grant administration processes for the newly structured organization.
In addition to her educational background, which includes a B.A. in Applied Psychology and a Master’s in Public Administration, Ann is a certified Six Sigma Lean Black Belt professional. Her expertise extends beyond her academic qualifications, as she also holds certifications as a registered yoga teacher and a certified yoga practitioner for cancer patients, along with 800 hours of training in yoga therapy.
