William H. Strong
William H. Strong is chairman and managing director of Longford Capital Management, a private investment company that invests in large business-to-business commercial legal claims believed to be high value and meritorious. He has worked in the financial services industry for more than 35 years, most recently as a member of Morgan Stanley’s Global Management Committee and co-CEO for its Asia Pacific Region, and previously as vice chairman of investment banking. Strong is a life trustee of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, where he began board service in 1994 and served as chair for five years. He currently serves as a member of the global advisory board of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, where he also previously served on the board of directors. Strong holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
