William M. Daley


William M. Daley is the managing director of Argentière Capital. Daley served as President Obama’s chief of staff from 2011 to 2012. Prior to this role, he was vice chairman and chairman of the Midwest for JPMorgan Chase, where he was also responsible for heading their Office of Corporate Responsibility. From 1997 to 2000 Daley served as U.S. Secretary of Commerce under President Clinton. As Special Counsel to President Clinton in 1993, Daley coordinated the successful campaign to pass the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Today Daley serves on the boards of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Innovation Foundation, Inc., Lyfe Kitchen and Third Way. Daly earned an LL.B. from John Marshall Law School and a B.A. from Loyola University in Chicago.
