Michelle Hunter is director of strategy and alignment for The Chicago Community Trust. In this role Hunter provides leadership to further the CEO’s institutional objectives and to advance the Trust’s strategic plan. She also serves as a strategic connector within the organization, ensuring cohesion and alignment in service of the Trust’s mission.
Prior to joining the Trust in 2009, Hunter worked as a fundraiser and grant writer and served in the AmeriCorps volunteer program. She has used her writing and communications skills to consult for various nonprofits, and she has also taught writing courses at Harold Washington College. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and international studies from Loyola University Chicago and a Master’s degree in writing and publishing from DePaul University.
