Marca Bristo


Marca Bristo is the president and CEO of Access Living, one of the nation’s leading disability rights organizations. She has helped craft local, national and international reforms to protect the rights of people with disabilities and equip them with tools to lead independent lifestyles. In 1994, Bristo was appointed to head the National Council on Disability by President Clinton. Today she serves as President of the United States International Council on Disabilities, through which she is leading a campaign to promote the ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities in the United States.
