Adriana Viteri is a senior philanthropic advisor at The Chicago Community Trust.
In her role, Adriana is responsible for building and cultivating trust-based relationships with current and prospective donors and grant partners. She works with individuals, families and corporations to facilitate strategic grantmaking, sector knowledge, and philanthropic educational programming. During her time at the Trust, she’s had the opportunity to manage collective giving programs including: Nuestro Futuro, a Latine affinity fund, and Unity Fund, a year-long effort focused on basic human needs.
Prior to joining The Trust, she was the associate director of development & public affairs at Mujeres Latinas en Accion, where she managed the organization’s fundraising, communications, and advocacy efforts. She has a BA in political science from Florida Atlantic University and an MA in women and gender studies from DePaul University. Adriana is an active member and volunteer of Chicago Latines in Philanthropy, Chicago Women in Philanthropy, and HIP’s Lideres Network. In 2020, Adriana was selected to participate in 21/64’s inaugural Certified Advisors of Color Program. She served as co-chair of Chicago Foundation for Women’s Young Women’s Giving Council from 2018-2020 and participated as a fellow in 2016-2017 for the Community Memorial Foundation’s Ladder to Leadership program.
