The African American Legacy aims to engage more African Americans in philanthropy that advances the community. Donors can find giving opportunities with impact, and expertise to make their contributions go further.

How You Can Give

• Give to The Legacy Fund. Donors pool their resources in this endowment for greater giving power. The money is used by AAL's Board of Advisors to award grants to innovative organizations tackling issues of common concern.  You can donate online using a credit card, or contact us for other options.
• Start an individual fund. Families, groups or individuals establish their own funds for giving that supports the African American community. Contact us to learn about starting your own fund.
