Unity Fund

Whatever you give helps where you live. Support the Chicago region through the Unity Fund.

Strong communities are built on our readiness to help our neighbors in times of need. Donating to Unity Fund provides essential lifelines in the community: shelter, food, clothing, health services and job training. Your support makes good things happen.

Since 2008, generous donors like you have contributed $6.9 million to benefit 180 nonprofits providing critical services in our community.

Through their support, Brandies is now the entrepreneur, business owner and outstanding community leader she was always meant to be. Hear her story

By donating to Unity Fund, your support goes directly to restoring stability for people in crisis by helping them access services instrumental to their self-sufficiency. Join other generous donors and The Chicago Community Trust to make our region—our home—a better place to live for everyone.

2015 Impact Report

Thanks to the generosity of our Unity Fund 2015 donors, the Trust awarded $720,000 in grants to 16 nonprofits addressing hunger, health, workforce development, homelessness and emergency supportive services in the Chicago region. See their impact in the 2015 Unity Fund Impact Report—and meet a few of the neighbors who have been helped back on their feet.
